Chamber

Chamber music is a form of group composed of a small number of instruments, often one that can fit in a large or medium-sized room. In general, it refers to any art music played by a small number of performers, with one performer allocated to each part, as opposed to orchestral music, which uses numerous performers for each string section. In recent years, many chamber groups have started to include different mixes of instruments and extended the trend to include non-Western instruments. Aria Music Publications offers an array of original compositions and styles that are well-founded in the chamber tradition but provide exciting ways for engaging small ensembles both in terms of instrumentation and the type of music.
